Design Process
Carter is careening through the past year of her life and taking the audience with her in this new musical - taking the stage for the first time ever in February 2026. As the story explores several locations and times through narrative memory, the set both grounds the audience in the present circumstances, while allowing each location to be highlighted through signage and portable scenery. This creates little slices of reality amongst the much more expansive present moment. This fast-paced show explores what could have been, what already is, and what yet may be.
